Empire Wealth: Money Manager ("Empire Wealth," "we," "our," or "the app"), developed by Empire AI Tech, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your data. Our core philosophy is simple: your data never leaves your device. You are the King or Queen of your Empire.
100% Offline. Empire Wealth operates entirely on your device to ensure true financial swaraj. We do not use cloud servers, external databases, or analytics services. No financial data, SMS content, or personal information is ever transmitted to our servers or any third party, because we have no servers and collect no data.
Data We Do Not Collect
Empire Wealth does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers. We do not:
- Collect or transmit your financial information
- Collect or transmit your SMS messages
- Use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
- Require an account, email, or password
- Share your data with any third party
Permissions and On Device Use
The app requests certain permissions to provide its features. All processing happens only on your device.
SMS (Read SMS)
If you grant SMS permission, Empire Wealth reads bank and payment SMS messages from your device strictly for on device processing. The app uses this to automatically detect and categorize transactions (e.g., debits, credits, transfers). Parsing and categorization are performed entirely on your device. No SMS content is ever sent to a server, collected, or shared. SMS data is used only to populate your local transaction history.
Storage (Read/Write External Storage)
Storage permission is used to export and import your data as a local JSON backup file. Files are stored on your device or in locations you choose. No backup data is uploaded to any server.
Biometric / Fingerprint
If you enable app lock, the app uses your device's built-in biometric authentication (e.g., fingerprint or face recognition) to protect access. Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system. Empire Wealth does not receive, store, or transmit any biometric data.
Local Data Storage
All your financial data including income, expenses, categories, investments, and loans is stored locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database. This data remains on your device unless you choose to export it.
Backup and Export
Empire Wealth offers a local JSON backup feature. You can export your data to a file stored on your device or in a location you select. Import restores data from that file. All backup and restore operations occur locally. No backup data is transmitted over the internet.
App Lock
You may optionally enable an app lock using your device's PIN, fingerprint, or face recognition. The lock protects access to the app when it is in the background. Your PIN is stored securely on your device using the operating system's secure storage. Biometric data is never stored or transmitted by the app.
Children's Privacy
Empire Wealth is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
